Tanjung Balai Karimun Police are still hunting the drug type of ecstasy syndicates from Malaysia involving a Indonesian, who was arrested Candro customs officials on Thursday (12/1) then.
Candro (40 years) is a national origin Tanjungbatu, Kundur District but settled in Batam.
He was arrested at the international port of Tanjung Balai Karimun after arrived from Kukup, Johor, Malaysia with Verry Tuah I.
When the officer examined Candro's body, found as many as 7018 ecstasy pills strapped to a green color in the calves, thighs, waist and hidden in the underwear with using duct tape.
The total value of ecstasy that smuggled by Candro around Rp1,43 billion with assuming worth of grain per Rp200,000.
Anti-narcotics Police Karimun unit are still hunting circulation of ecstasy syndicate members involving suspects Candro.
Police named two people as a fugitive, one who gave ecstasy to Candro as well as those who will receive in Karimun.
"We've pocketed the identity of those who deliver and receive such ecstasy. Both our set as a fugitive," said Chief of Police Narcotics Unit Karimun AKP Arwin Wientama a news conference in Tanjung Balai Karimun Customs, on Monday last week.
Arwin said it will attempt to investigate the interstate ecstasy syndicate circulation. "Hopefully soon transpired," he continued.
