Riau Islands Customs Patrol Training

Customs of Riau Islands province held a "change agent workshop" to enhance their skills in conducting security patrols of the crime of smuggling at sea.


"Change agent" Workshop was attended by 30 officers patrol with tutor training from rifle company B 134 Tuah Sakti Infantry Battalion which closed in Pongkar Beach, Tebing District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands province, Friday (28/10).

Riau Islands Customs patrol officers trained in martial arts techniques, use of weapons and skills while performing patrol catch smugglers at sea.

The taking of action and Investigation Directorate Director General of Customs, Rahmad Subagyo said, ''change agent'' workshop is aimed at establishing a reliable patrol officer and capable of being agents of change to deliver a professional customs officers, integrity, and provide good service to the community.

In the training which was closed at the Beach Pongkar, each participant swam to shore as far as 200 meters. Arriving at the beach, each participant had to face the soldiers who blocked them from taking oversized berets patrol officers.

Each participant gets the honor and embedding beret and insignia of office of the Director of the taking of action and Investigation Directorate General of Customs, Rahmad Subagyo.
