Anti-narcotics Unit Police of Karimun, Riau Islands province arrested a civil servant of Karimun Regency Government, with initials He because allegedly distributing narcotics type shabu-shabu.

Head of Anti-Narcotics Police Unit Adjunct Commissioner Karimun Arwin Wientama, Thursday said, He was arrested based on the recognition of Pu who said she had shabu-shabu from He.

''Temporary information, shabu-shabu were bought in Batam,''said Arwin.

Arwin said, criminal sanctions for the same as another suspect, although he was a government employee.

''There is no difference between ordinary citizens, government officials and police if involved narcotics. Legal sanctions remain the same,''he said.

He and Pu violating Law on Narcotics No35/2009 with the threat of imprisonment for five years and a maximum of ten years, and pay a fine of at least Rp 1 billion and a maximum of Rp 10 billion.

''Because Pu also wants shabu-shabu, then I give half of shabu-shabu that I have to sell it for Rp400.000,'' he said.

He said the shabu-shabu he bought in Batam from someone for Rp300.000 per package.
