Four of the eight companies that signed a memorandum of understanding on a birthday celebration for the 12th Karimun Regency in October 2011 proposed permit location for business development in free trade zone/FTZ Karimun, Riau Islands province.

"To date, four companies had not said it would cancel plans to invest. We certainly hope the eight companies that signed a memorandum of understanding on the 12th anniversary of Karimun to remain with the original intention," he said.
Special Galant Project Management Sdn Bhd, he said it would begin licensing arrangements in March for the company's management is preparing an investment plan in Dubai.
Galant Project plans to build a hotel and the development of hot water attractions in the Tanjung Hutan, Buru district with an investment of 300 million Singapore dollars.
