A total of 200 dancers and artists will be featured in the performing arts enliven Cap Go Meh celebration of the Lunar New Year 2563 at the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Batam.

In addition to cultural performances Vihara Duta Maitreya will also serve vegetarian dishes for people who come.
Based on Chinese literature, Cap Go Meh was first started around the year 180 BC, Emperor Hanwudi ruling in the Western Han Dynasty ascended the throne on the 15th of the first lunar month.
To celebrate his coronation, the Emperor Han Wudi took the decision to make the first 15 months of the date of the feast of lanterns.
In the year 104 BC, Cap Go Meh Festival is officially listed as the country's national holiday. (source)
