Loading and unloading activities at the Port of Sri Payung, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands for a week relating to celebration of Chinese or Lunar New Year 2563/2012.

 "To honor the Chinese New Year celebrations, the activity of loading and unloading in the port of Sri Payung discontinued starting on Saturday (21/1) to Wednesday (25/1)," said Chief Postal of Syahbandar Port of Sri Payung, Batu 6, Tanjungpinang, Sutoyo as reported kepri.antaranews.com.

Sutoyo said that while loading and unloading of goods from within and outside the country stopped a week, but will not cause the scarcity of basic material needs or other needs of residents in the capital city of Riau Islands province.

"No effect, because of sufficient stockpiles of food needs and anticipated," said Sutoyo.

According to him, the cessation of activity of the Port of Payung wont to do every Lunar New Year celebration and all businesses and residents have to understand it.

In the current Port of Sri Payung leaning several ship goods from within and abroad. A number of goods and material needs of the citizens Tanjungpinang also still appears to be on board.
