About a hundred booths participating in the exhibition which opened on Wednesday (12/10) and then, all government agencies and offices participated in the exhibition by exhibiting programs and achievements since Karimun upgraded into regency 12 years ago.
Dozens of booths from private companies also opened the booth to show off the product to the visitors.
Visitors to the exhibition to see the direct product booming exhibited by each booth.
Some of these large companies booth booth PT Saipem Indonesia, a fabrication and offshore companies from Italy, PT Multi Ocean Shipyard and other companies.
The exhibition also showcased a variety of attractions and traditional arts Karimun, like art ghazal, dangkong dance and other.
In commemorating the 12th anniversary of the Karimun Regency, as many as eight domestic and foreign investors signed a memorandum of understanding with District Government and Board Concession of Karimun Free Trade Zone.
One of the foreign companies who signed a memorandum of understanding is the Galant Project Management Sdn Bhd which will build hotel and resort in hot water attraction in Tanjung Hutan, Buru District, Karimun Regency. Galant Project Management Sdn Bhd will invest amount of 300 Singapore dollars.
Karimun Regent Nurdin Basirun said the exhibition development is a momentum to introduce investment opportunities for domestic and foreign companies.
''Karimun very strategic in the development of investment in the shipbuilding industry, commerce, maritime business,''he said.

Hopefully with the development exhibition in order to commemorate the 12th anniversary of Karimun District, can be introduced all the existing investment opportunities, for development progress.
