Cycling championships Tour de Bintan starting on Saturday (12/11) - Sunday (13/11) followed by 850 racers from different countries in the world, both from Australia, America, Europe and Asia.
The racers will compete in three stages, first stage is carried out today's won Tanjungpinang racer, Heksa Priya Prasetiya with the fastest time 3 hours 56 minutes and 53 seconds.
Heksa Priya Prasetiya entering the finish line accompanied by Singapore's Wang Yip Tang racers with a time of 3 hours 56 minutes 57 seconds.
He is entitled to a "yellow jersey" and continue on the second stage.
Racers will continue the second stage with the distance of 70 km and the third stage as far as 38 km from the Area of Integrated Tourism Lagoi towards Tanjung Uban on Sunday (13/11).
Bintan Regent Ansar Ahmad said the championship "Tour de Bintan" was held aimed at increasing tourist arrivals, especially to the tourist area which is an integrated Lagoi mainstay attractions Bintan regency.
The racers are not only competing for prize won with a total Rp238 million, but will also see the wonderful scenery Bintan regency, such as white sandy Trikora Beach, township residents and other natural panorama.
Bintan Island is one of the largest island in the Riau Islands Province. The island is not only famous for its panoramic views of beaches, but also known for having a blue ocean views with various types of fish that can attract foreign tourists.
