A number of staff and school teachers with disabilities at Jawatan Kuasa Penyeleras Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PDK), Regions Kahang, Johor, Malaysia to visit the Special School (SLB) Budhi Bakti Tanjung Balai Karimun, Karimun regency, Riau Islands Province on Wednesday (23/2).
The visit was led by experts Invite Affairs Council (a kind of legislative) Regions Kahang, Johor, R Vidyananthan.
The delegation which met the Chairman of Yayasan Bakti Budhi Education (YPBB) Budi Prayitno invited to view the activities of learning and teaching students with disabilities at Budhi Bakti School on Pelipit Street, Tanjung Balai Karimun.
R Vidyananthan also dialogue with the teachers in this school, especially regarding the learning system of children with disabilities. They also visited the kindergarten for the disabled.
R Vidyananthan and entourage also donated funds to help the school operating costs.
''We were here first. The goal is to see and exchange experiences on how to teach children with disabilities,'' R Vidyananthan said.
According to him, teaching in the school system will be input for application in Kahang, Johor, Malaysia.
''Children with disabilities also have the same right to get education at school,''he said.
He said, SLB Karimun with limited infrastructure successfully educating children berkekhususan and can not afford.
''We hope this visit will continue on the next visit,''he said.
YPBB Chairman's Budi Prayitno welcomed the goodwill visit of the neighboring country.
''The visit is also useful for us in adding to knowledge about how to educate children,''he said.
