Bus antique past into a means of transportation for the citizens of the island of Karimun Besar, Kabupaten Karimun, Riau Islands Province of good students, employees and for citizens in the wedding and so on.
Chairman of the Land Transportation Organization (Organda) Karimun Amir said, the antique bus left only about 40 units.
Some have started to damaged equipment and spare parts are not original because it has been replaced with another car spare parts.
"Bus has the potential to be used as a means of transportation of tourists from Singapore and Malaysia,'' he said.
Bus "tempo doeloe" made from wood, the windows on either side of the bus also timber framed.
Passengers sit on benches lined up facing each other are placed on either side of the bus.
Passengers enter through a door provided at the back of the bus.
